RELAX AND HAVE A LAUGH
Laughter is the best medicine
for the soul...no idea who said that...and no, I won't google to find out.
I read an article from a
colleague today who just came from his leave, urging us not to take life too
seriously, especially seeing as we're only here temporarily. One may choose to
argue that we may live up to 100 years, and to that I say kudos! But imagine
living about 70-80 years all too serious!
Come on...mess up a
little...skip a few classes, get a bit naughty, it's okay if you fail an
interview or two, dress down and take a vacation...even if you'll come back
broke (you'll learn what not to do on your next vacation).
Of course it's not to say that
to have a laugh you need to go against the grain, you can still have your laugh
along the grain, in your day to day as there are countless reasons to pause and
laugh...being alive and well being the optimal reason.
Many of lifes’ experiences are
what make us have a hearty laugh with a random tear later in life, wondering
how we made it through it all, but oh so glad that we did.
Here’s to days full of laughter
and cheer, a good road to lead you to a long fulfilling life.
