RELAX AND HAVE A LAUGH

Laughter is the best medicine for the soul...no idea who said that...and no, I won't google to find out. I read an article from a colleague today who just came from his leave, urging us not to take life too seriously, especially seeing as we're only here temporarily. One may choose to argue that we may live up to 100 years, and to that I say kudos! But imagine living about 70-80 years all too serious!  Come on...mess up a little...skip a few classes, get a bit naughty, it's okay if you fail an interview or two, dress down and take a vacation...even if you'll come back broke (you'll learn what not to do on your next vacation). Of course it's not to say that to have a laugh you need to go against the grain, you can still have your laugh along the grain, in your day to day as there are countless reasons to pause and laugh...being alive and well being the optimal reason.
